In order to significantly improve the accessibility of the houses/apartments in the residential
complex “Am Renninger 10”, ABS Transportbahnen GmbH has built an inclined elevator
for and in cooperation with HABAU Hoch- und Tiefbaugesellschaft m.b.H.
The inclined elevator (a fully automatic elevator on an inclined track) is used to connect the
two newly built buildings (1+2) in the residential complex “Am Renninger 10” barrier-free.
The 75 steps of a parallel, approx. 29 meter long staircase in the outdoor area can be
easily overcome using the inclined elevator. This development of the residential complex
makes it possible to easily transport homeowners, visitors, people with restricted mobility,
families with children, transport of strollers, shopping, etc., making the residential complex
even more attractive.
The inclined elevator runs from the House 1 EG stop through a closed shaft to the House
2 UG stop.
