In order to make the existing private home of a family in Zell am See accessible all year round, ABS Transportbahnen GmbH, in collaboration with Baustudio GmbH, built an inclined elevator as part of a renovation project.

The inclined elevator runs from the “Garage” stop on the first floor through a closed shaft to the “House” stop on the upper floor.

The steps of a parallel, approximately 25-metre-long external staircase can be easily overcome with the help of the can be overcome effortlessly with the help of the inclined elevator. This barrier-free access to the residential building enables convenient transportation for homeowners, visitors, people with restricted mobility, children, baby carriages, groceries and more. This significantly increases the attractiveness of the residence.

Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, the system is particularly compact and efficient. The use of a counterweight, a gearless drive and an advanced elevator control system ensures energy-saving and low-maintenance operation.
