The lift with inclined track connects the ski school gathering point near the top station of the Planai cable car with the family ski zone Märchenwiese / Hopsi’s Winterkinderland. In this way, it replaces the previous transport of visitors, ski students and families by means of snow groomer shuttles and thus significantly improves the accessibility and safety of the beginner ski zone “Märchenwiese”.

In summer, this facility is also used for the summer children’s land and the transport of strollers, wheelchair users and toddlers to the water world and will also be incorporated into the high ropes course.

Families can use the elevator in summer also for overcoming the altitude difference to the top station of the Planai cable car.
