Erzurum I + II

The Eastern Anatolian city of Erzurum is situated 1,850 meters above sea level, making it the highest city in Turkey.

The 25th Winter Universiade, the university student world games, took place here in 2011 from 27 January to 6 February 2011, in which around 3,500 university athletes competed.

The organiser built a new, spectacular ski jump for this large-scale event.
